Claudia Randrup

Claudia works closely with Zacco’s trusted European associates and leads client relations for the IP Operations team. She supports clients with enquiries on costs, procedures, and business opportunities, and is dedicated to ensuring high-quality delivery and continuously improving Zacco’s service offerings.

Claudia holds a Master’s degree in Scandinavian Studies from University Greifswald, Germany (1999), supplemented by studies at Göteborgs Universitet in Sweden and the University of East Anglia in the UK. She has lived in Copenhagen since 1999.

She brings more than eight years of experience as a patent translator and validation administrator at a Danish IP firm, gaining extensive insight into translations, EP validations, deadlines, and procedural requirements. She later worked four years at a Danish translation agency, first as Project Manager and later as Business Development Manager, working closely with clients, in‑house and freelance linguists, and complex delivery workflows.

Since joining Zacco in 2011, Claudia has advanced from Sales Coordinator in the Validation Department to her current role as Global Lead and Partner. Her responsibilities include product and business development, value creation, internal training and coaching, and close collaboration across departments and leadership teams throughout Zacco.

With hands-on experience from both translation and IP administration, Claudia has a deep understanding of client needs and ensures precise, reliable, and seamless handling of IP services. She is structured, quality‑focused, and committed to delivering outstanding value to Zacco’s clients.

A former professional IP translator, Claudia is a native German speaker and works daily in Danish and English, with occasional Swedish.
